Archetypal violence and end of analysis

Based on a study of the adolescent process, the author describes a waning phase of the intra-psychic and inter-subjective, conscious and unconscious separation experience during the terminal phase of analysis. As a re-actualization of the energies of the archetypal adolescent reshaping, the end of analysis plays out aspects of identification, the negative side of the self, and homosexuality on the inner stage, projected into the field of transference.
