When the projection can meet the symbol

The brutal reaction a painter exhibiting her work at on outdoor market elicits from a passerby prompts the author to wonder about the value and status of the image, projection, symbol, relationship to the unknown and the ignored, for both the person who gazes upon it and the person who created it.
