The perception of meaning in analysis

Connection to an objective meaning is the basis for therapeutic hope. The factor which seems to permit the identification of meaning in analysis cannot be reduced to intellectual understanding. Full evaluation of meaning is a long-term process, but awareness of occasional flashes of meaning can also arise from the impact of certain archetypal images and the power of synchronicity. This phenomenon could be described as a creation in analytic time. The effectiveness of the connection to meaning requires the whole person: body, soul, and mind.
