In this article on surrealism, the author tried to share her enthusiasm for this innovative movement in thinking, creativity, and personal freedom. The surrealists explored all means in order to approach the subconscious more closely, and their attempts, needless to say, well included taking certain risks. A corner-stone in 20^th century art and literature, Surrealism plays, to this day, an essential role in whom we are, as both women and individuals in general.
