Jung and Fellini. The unconscious creates images, the film remains to be made

English
Jung and Fellini drew upon the same inner experience as an inspiration. They both understood being in the grip of emotion as the sign of an unconscious movement that aroused their creativity. By calling himself an “artisan-medium,” Fellini recognized that when directing his films, he was driven by two figures: a mysterious presence, an archetype of the Self, and the humble, indispensable figure of the artisan ego. As Jung understood it in the 40s and 50s, the combination ensured the subject’s ethical choices.
