Surprise and creativity (interpretation and elaboration)
By Nicolas Gougoulis
English
The author outlines a series of hypotheses related to the birth of the possibility of an interpretation and of its effects on the patients. The context of the history of psychoanalysis makes it possible to compare various moments of creativity in psychoanalysts from different schools as a function of the mental illnesses encountered. The author then discusses the possibility of subjective appropriation of the interpretation by the analysand, to avoid the phenomena of domination.
