In 1909, C.G. Jung wrote “The Analysis of Dreams.” The author pursues a commentary on it, showing that the period leading up to and culminating in the split between Zurich and Vienna was marked by a lively debate on the so-called “prospective” function of the dream suggested by Alphonse Maeder.
