Babylon - The image of sound

The author, an Israeli violinist, describes his musical experience in relation to pictures. How does an image inspire the playing of an instrument, from the learning stages to the performance of the most contemporary scores? The violin, an emblem of Jewish tradition and history, takes us back to the sources: that of the musician King David, but also that of the tower of Babel.
