The theft and flight of a child
By Pascale Mauchant-Renoult
English
Money intervenes, to pay for analysis sessions. For a child who is a ward of the state, the bond is tense: a department of the administration, and not the healthcare team in charge of the child, pays the bill. When this child steals the therapist’s money, a series of disruptions ensue within the established transference relationship. The prospective dynamic of the therapy will then really be able to come to life.
