The author questions, regarding Jung’s thought, her experience as a psychoanalyst working together with her guide dog. Phèdre played her part in different ways according to each patient’s problematics. Some people identified themselves to her, while she sometimes actively participated. Thanks to her sweetness and constancy, she provided Tatiana primary maternal reassurance, and helped Patrick and Maxime revive their repressed drives. She acted Clara’s voracity and revealed Anne’s perverse behaviour. Because of this triangle, setting and transference have been undergoing revealing adjustments, allowed by the shared fund of our psyches.
