Images of the child

If childhood cancer is still difficult to think about today, then the challenge for siblings is twofold: to elaborate representations around the reality of the lethal prognosis, and to be able to express them in a containing space. This work illustrates this through the accompaniment of a little girl who is facing the end of life of her sister, suffering from cancer. We will see, through the creative process, how the child can again mobilize her psychic life in the face of the unspeakable, and how she tries to make this experience assimilable, thanks to imaging and the symbols brought by the unconscious. The reflection will revolve around the specificity of such an accompaniment, unseparable from that of her family.
