Introversions

The experiences of introversion are plural. Sometimes regressive, sometimes a compensation for the unilaterality of extraversion and thus undifferentiated, sometimes happy, they are in no way synonymous with withdrawal or confinement. They lead to the setting up of a rhythm in the opposition between introversion and extraversion, which alone allows the emergence of a creative function, a creative fantasy, the transcendent function. The poetic or creative imagination, through its possibilities of resonance, is a singular form of this.
