The intimate in the transferential relationship: Which words to say?

In this text, I develop the idea that every individual creates in a very personal and unique way, a subjective narrative, an intimate fiction of his or her experience. The work in analysis would therefore consist of an encounter with a narrative that is neither linear nor a chronological account of the subject’s history, but a plot and its subterranean foundations. I also stress the importance of silence in the session, the time needed for the right words to be spoken; the essential transferential nest, in resonance with the original nest, providing the patient the conditions of an intimate encounter with himself or herself, towards a possible transformation.
