Bir Başkadir or the birth of an intimate space

The Turkish series Bir Başkadir introduces us to a cast of characters, all connected to a young practising Muslim woman, Meryem, who engages into therapy. From the very beginning of her encounter with Peri, her therapist, a profound transformation begins for her with the emergence of an intimate space, and for those around her.
