The unfinished

Rejecting an oversimplification of the unfinished as a psychopathology, the author considers the unfinished through the lens of Japanese aesthetics, Mesopotamian architecture, and the alchemical process of Mysterium Conjunctionis. It is a dream guiding reflection, emphasizing the role of the spirit in the encounter with archetypal realities. There, the unfinished as invitation and opening appears to be intrinsically related to the Jungian experience of the unconscious and the unknowable.
