Dreaming the pandemic

Based on Jung’s writing about the links between dreams and collectivity, this article analyzes around twenty dreams from the first eighteen months of the covid pandemic in France. A chronological evolution emerges: natural disasters and war progressively give way to more realistic scenes, about lockdown and social interdictions. Though collective unconscious diffracts through dreams in individual unconscious, and therefore allows individual self, the only one able to process it and work to enlarge consciousness.
