The fauna of our dreams
By Caroline Rosain-Montet
English
After discussing contemporary concerns related to Gaïa and the societal, political, and psychological issues they raise, the author cites clinical vignettes to highlight the importance and role of the animal in our dreams. All sorts of species, some of them unexpected, appear. In a highly sensorial way, the animal reveals aspects of the personality that have been neglected, facets of the anima/animus, or paths the soul wishes to follow although the ego resists them.
