Religious burning, ashes and love…

Fire is associated with the divine. By its very nature, it endows deities with power and destructive weapons, but this representation is constantly evolving, and it is now the spoken word that takes precedence when it comes to the presence of God. Self-burning and bonfires still evoke vestiges of pagan religions. And in the Song of Songs, love is likened as a promise to the flame of God.
