The Dissociative Capacity
By Bernadette Vandenbroucke
English
Dissociation is a key concept of Jungian theorization. Initially, the author points out how it is related to the whole of Jungian theorization, what its role is in the constitution of the psyche and the expression of creativity, and what constitutes its deviances. Then, using a clinical example, he tries to demonstrate the circumstances conducive to a transition from a pathological dissociation to one that is instrumental in the individuation process.
