From Three Suns to Three Bridges

The title « Des trois soleils aux trois ponts », which emphasizes the integrative value of these two archetypal images, is borrowed from the therapy of a five-year-old child. In limiting itself to these two key moments, the article offers to summarize the proceedings of a workshop centered on child practice at the Chicago congress : transcendent function and psychic creativity in children. The integration of an Ego able to withstand confrontation with the unconscious embodies the first large-scale accomplishment of this creativity.
