The Setting in Children and Adolescents’ Analysis
By Denyse Lyard
English
The author reviews the particularities of work with children and adolescents, whose neuro-emotional-psychic maturation is in expansion while they are still dependent on their families or foster families. The analytical setting must be adapted to them by including a device other than the couch or the sheet of paper. Lastly, cooperation with the parents is essential, but its nature will vary as a function of the child’s age and circumstances.
