Homosexuality : the Impossible Differentiation

A clinical case-study confirms the theories of Jung and Neumann according to which sexual identity is anterior to the Oedipus complex, being determined in the experience of the first bonds with the mother-figure. Feminine or masculine homosexuality expresses the individual’s difficulty in giving up these archaic phases dominated by the unconscious, and thus by confusion and indifferentiation; it can be understood as a survival solution.
