Resistance to Changes, an Endless Crisis…

The resistance to change is studied here in light of the influence of the movement represented by the negative faces puer and senex. The strategies they implement to maintain the non-time of narcissistic omnipotence and attachment to the source are described. This tendency is at work in all of us, but it can produce a true perversion of time which causes the victim to remain a prisoner of his past. The subjectivation process created by analysis enables the subject to integrate a relationship to history which establishes meaning and commitment over time.
