Eight American Jungian analysts, from a broad range of individual orientations, were asked to write a brief reply to the question “For you personally, what is thought in analysis ?” This survey is being published simultaneously in the Journal of Jungian Theory and Practice and in these Cahiers. Christian Gaillard's article entitled “For Awkwardness in Thought,” also published in this issue, provides commentary and discussion on the theme of this survey.
