Ysou's story. An eclipse of the self
By Cyrille Bonamy
English
Imprisoned by a congenital, severely handicaping disease and eight years ill-treatment, a child wakes up owing to institution personnel care. The author searches the trend followed by the child to get through the self defences and the impediments of the ego construction. The case brings to light a key-data for setting the processus in motion : the personnel aptitude to put the sensation function at work and to allow the transition to the thinking function.
