Some man? Some woman?

The film The Blue Light, directed by Leni Riefenstahl in 1932, is appraised for its dramatic content. The author proposes a reading of the script and of a selection of sequences that demonstrates that the film visually and intellectually revolves around the romantic encounter – or failed encounter, as it turns out – of a man and a woman.
