Job's second chance

On a psychological level, the story of Job limns the question of the meaning of tests in existence : justice, injustice, or beyond these polar opposites, initiation leading to growth and to the development of one’s destiny. After his confrontation with Jehovah, Job will be rewarded by receiving double what he had before. Jung does not mention this interesting denouement.
