Boomerang

Within the emotional context of the 9/11 tragedy in New York, the dreamer sees the sky darken as a black boomerang suddenly cuts across it. A deeper interpretation based on a number of associations leads the dreamer to confront the archetype of the shadow and the Cain-and-Abel myth of fratricidal war. Anxious hope for a process of personal – and possibly planetary – self-realization serves as the dreamer’s guiding light.
