The theme of the 18th Seminar of Jungian Child and Adolescent Therapists was « cognitive sciences and the birth of symbolic life ». Based on the case history of a seven-year-old boy encountering difficulties in school, the lecturers presented a variety of cognitivist and psychoanalytic approaches. They identified the similarities and differences between various directions in the sciences of knowledge and psychoanalytic concepts, including those of Jungian analytic psychology.
