Time and eternity in Jung’s writings

The tension between time and eternity remained vivid throughout Jung’s lifetime, even though his personal journey and work are oriented towards the conjunction of opposites. These issues have been manifested in religious life since the earliest Antiquity. They are part of the psyche of modern man, whether he is atheist or not; hence, the current importance of the individuation journey as elaborated by Jung.
