The dangers and charms of dreams: combining scientific and Jungian views

Many recent scientific studies have focused on sleep and dreams. The findings of these studies are bound to modify the way the dream is treated, or ignored, in the clinical relationship. Analytical psychology, which bases its work on the dream, the “open door to the unconscious”, has a duty to integrate these discoveries to improve the quality of work with patients.
